Queen of ASMR and Fortnite TikTok phenom join the esports and gaming organization
LOS ANGELES, May 17, 2022 — Dignitas, the gaming and entertainment vertical of New Meta Entertainment, Inc. (NME), has today announced the addition of Tyla “Tyla” Decker and Amber “AlarmingAmber” Pettinato as Content Creators. The announcement comes on the heels of Dignitas entering the Fortnite space, further marking a commitment to overserve the audience of the Epic Games title played by over 350 million gamers worldwide.
Tyla started her streaming career in 2016 and is currently a top-performing creator on TikTok, amassing over 1.6 million followers and 25 million ‘likes’ on her content. She joined TikTok in 2019, posting engaging and entertaining Fortnite content from her live stream. In 2022, Tyla saw an opportunity to expand to a new audience by creating gaming ASMR content, both VOD and live through TikTok. Her audience has since skyrocketed, attracting the attention of Dignitas who has recently broadened its portfolio of content creators to include many forms of digital entertainment.
“Joining Dignitas is like finding my second home. Most of you know that I was a full-time gaming creator for six years before pursuing ASMR / Gaming ASM,” said Tyla “Tyla” Decker. “To me, it’s the fact that Dignitas still sees a future in me with the team – it shows a lot about who they are. They like me for me. I like that. It makes me feel like I’ve found my home.”
AlarmingAmber found her love for gaming at the age of 12, first playing Call of Duty. Her love for FPS titles led her to Fortnite in 2019. After two years of building her Twitch live streaming audience, she became a Twitch Partnered streamer in January 2022. To expand her audience, AlarmingAmber began posting on TikTok in 2020 and quickly attracted a sizable fanbase of Fortnite fans. AlarmingAmber is closing in on one million followers on the trending social platform, with another 100,000 fans following on other social media sites.
Amber “AlarmingAmber” Pettinato shared, “Streaming is my biggest passion. To have a team like Dignitas see that and be here to support me is amazing!,” said AlarmingAmber. “I love what I do, and I’m so excited to join a team with so many like-minded passionate people who are here to accelerate my career! I’m looking forward to making some crazy content and awesome memories.”
“Tyla and AlarmingAmber are two of the most compelling creators on the scene and are the perfect additions to the Dignitas roster,” said Michael Prindiville, CEO of New Meta Entertainment. “Their signings further demonstrates a commitment to producing the most engaging content for our fans, opening up new opportunities for brands and partners to align with the most dynamic creators in the industry.”
The signing of two of the top Fortnite creators in the space furthers Dignitas’ commitment to Fortnite and emerging audiences. Tyla and AlarmingAmber join the Dignitas Fortnite team of Piero “pgod” Ramirez, Matthew “Mero” Faitel and Lucas “Dukez” Cardenas.
