GT Omega RPM Esports, the official team representing the GT Omega brand seals sponsorship deal with HyperX.
Justin Mifsud founder and team manager of RPM Esports, spoke on the sponsorship in a release: “We are happy to have HyperX supporting the team with their peripherals to our elite and junior drivers. Having professional hardware especially the headsets which are mostly needed in sim racing after the wheels and pedals makes the drivers focused during their races especially having comfortable headsets on for long hours during endurance races.”
RPM Esports was launched in 2017 and since then it has been building its line up to a solid one. Having Alon Day European Nascar champion and Monster athlete, Tom Beckhauser, a Formula 3 champion among esports drivers such as Alleric Enslin, Jack Noller and promising drivers who lately have been performing quite well in high level championships. Not forgetting also that the team is based in Malta, having also local drivers who have been improving since their signing with the team.
RPM Esports have drivers from various countries such as Israel, South Africa, UK, Italy, Czech Republic and Peru. Apart from that the team has a junior category with drivers at a young age starting from 15 years which are being taught from the ground up to get into the professional level.
This sponsorship helps the team to continue being recognized and compete in the top tier level of esports racing. With the Covid-19 pandemic the team had plenty of time to practice and further improve their driving skills to participate in the highest level championships and events.
In the coming weeks GT Omega RPM Esports will have its own sim racing facility at the mother company World Pro Racing where the drivers can practice throughout the week in a professional environment equipped with telemetry rooms, streaming, fitness and all necessary equipment to practice without any technical flaws.
