Yesterday an interview with Yevhen Zolotarov, the CEO of the Ukrainian esports organization Natus Vincere was published by The Washington Post. They discussed the impact of war, the club’s future, as well as the future of their employees and rosters. Currently, both CS:GO and Dota 2 rosters have players from the Russian Federation. As NAVI CEO declared, he is not willing to work with people currently residing in Russia and paying taxes, but he is offering relocation to the EU for three Russian players Denis electroNic Shapirov, Iliya Perfecto Zalutskyi and Kirill Boombl4 Mihailov from CS:GO team. NAVI’s Yevhen Zolotarov also pointed out that he would like to keep the roster unchanged, but will respect the player’s decision and is prepared for roster changes. The current CS:GO roster is the reigning Major champion, in 2021 the team won every LAN tournament they participated in. By the end of the season, two players ended up in the top 10 rankings on HLTV.org, S1mple (Alexander Kostylev) being top-1.
