We take a look at the changes in the number of subscribers of the top 10 Indian streamers during lockdown enforced due to Covid-19.
The 1st position has remained unchanged and belongs to Dynamo who has added ~26% more subscribers during the lockdown and now numbers 8.4 mn.
Carry Minati has taken the 2nd position from Mortal Gaming with 7.35 mn subscribers and has registered the largest increase of 81%, adding more than 3mn subscribers in 4 months.
He is 1mn shy of Dynamo and if Minati’s growth continues he may soon overtake Dynamo.
Pubg star Mortal remains in 3rd position with almost 6mn subscribers and registering a growth of 40%.
The other astonishing growth is by Technical Guys Gaming almost doubling from 1.17 mn to 2.06 mn up 76%.

Co-incidentally, most streamers in this list have a heavy focus on PUBG as their cornerstone streaming title given the massive popularity of the game in the Indian audiences.
Though Titles like Garena Free Fire,Valorant,Apex Legends are making headway.
Unlike the rest of the world where Twitch is the preferred brand for streamers, in India it is by far Youtube Gaming well received by both the audiences and streamers, few Indian streamers prefer Twitch over Youtube.
The Lockdown might have proven to be a blessing in disguise as it has boosted subscribers thereby increasing ad revenues for streamers.
